I was born in Manila, Philippines and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts so I am very much a New Englandah. New Bedford is a coastal city situated 60 miles south of Boston and 30 minutes east of Providence, RI making it a great hub and a heartbeat away from just about all of the best parts of New England. New Bedford has a rich maritime history, strong communities, and quite possibly some of the best New England seafood anyone will find (chances are, if you’ve had seafood in the state, it’s likely it came from either Gloucester or New Bedford, MA).
The United States is a BBBIIIIGGG country. I’ve been fortunate to be given the opportunity to travel to 45 of the 50 states in my previous life. Having that opportunity not only validated how much I love traveling but ultimately proved that there are sooo many wonderful people in this world. The United States truly is a wonderful country with variety and splendor of people, culture, geography, and everything in between, that is not only something to experience but a spirit that can make you believe that anything is possible.

Language does not come easy to me but I made a note to myself back in Jan 27, 2017 that I wanted to dream in Spanish. What better way to learn than to live in Spanish speaking countries? Besides google translate, I put together a spreadsheet of common words, verb conjugation, and continuously add words I don’t know to the list. I believe this is a helpful reference for anyone who is interested in learning Spanish and can also be used to learn English as well. From time to time this will be updated.
